В Киеве решили не достраивать крейсер «Украина»

Украинские власти решили не достраивать крейсер «Украина», который находился на заводе в Николаеве, так как встал вопрос либо о продаже долгостроя, либо о выделении из бюджета средств на достраивание судна или его содержание.

«В минобороны подтвердили, что достраивать крейсер для нужд ВСУ нецелесообразно. Этим решением министерство фактически сняло вопрос необходимости содержания крейсера «Николаевским судостроительным заводом», — говорится в заявлении, опубликованном на сайте концерна.

В марте президент Порошенко указом распорядился демилитаризовать недостроенный крейсер, который простаивает на судостроительной верфи почти 33 года. Само предприятие остановило работу в октябре; из-за многомиллионных долгов по зарплате счета завода арестованы.
